Business & First Class: 2 pieces totaling 14 kg (7 kg main carry-on, 55x38x22cm + 7 kg briefcase 45x35x20cm OR garment bag no more than 20cm thick when folded) - each piece independently capped at 7 kg per official wording ('Two pieces totaling 14kg... One carry-on: 7kg; One briefcase or garment bag: 7kg'). SPECIAL ROUTE OVERRIDES: Brazil departures = 10 kg limit ALL classes; India boarding = single piece only, max 115 cm (45.3 in) total L+W+H.
Economy and Premium Economy do NOT get a separate free personal item - the cabin allowance is ONE piece only (7 kg Economy / 10 kg Premium Economy). The official cabin-baggage-rules page gives no personal-item language for Economy at all. Emirates does NOT restrict cabin/carry-on baggage by Economy fare tier - all four Economy fares (Special, Saver, Flex, Flex Plus) get the identical 7 kg/55x38x22cm carry-on per the official cabin-baggage-rules page; no fare-based cabin-bag-only restriction (of the United/American Basic Economy type) was found. The fare tiers instead change CHECKED baggage on piece-concept (Americas/Africa) routes: Special = 1 free checked bag (23 kg); Saver/Flex/Flex Plus = 2 free checked bags (46 kg total).
