Rimowa luggage sizes

Rimowa is a German luxury luggage maker founded in Cologne in 1898, best known for its ridged suitcases and its signature anodized aluminium cases. The brand has been majority owned by LVMH since 2016. Its two flagship luggage lines are the aluminium Original collection and the lightweight polycarbonate Essential collection, both built around a four wheel Multiwheel system and TSA approved locks. Rimowa sells mainly through its own boutiques and a small set of authorized luxury retailers rather than mass marketplaces.

How Rimowa measures

Rimowa publishes exterior dimensions on its product pages in both centimeters and inches and states that the measurements include wheels and handles, so these figures reflect the full overall size an airport gate sizer would measure. The values stored here use Rimowa's published inch figures, which run slightly larger than a direct centimeter conversion. Rimowa lists dimensions as height by width by depth.
